Vote Now! MMC Senior Ashley Feith is Finalist in Student Diplomat Video Contest

When we send off our students to study abroad in every corner of the world, we know they’ll come back as even better global citizens – but Marymount Manhattan College’s own Ashley Feith ’13 is out to prove it. Ashley’s video documenting her experience at the American College of Thessaloniki is a finalist in the NAFSA Student Diplomat Video Contest.

Ashley, a Philosophy and Religious Studies major with a minor in International Studies, spent her time in Greece collecting lovingly shot footage of people, places and food, which she’s edited into a gorgeous and engaging three-minute video for the contest. She also picked up a wealth of new ideas and languages that illustrate the importance of experiencing cultures of all kinds.

Alongside all the bright colors and fascinating locations, Ashley’s insightful commentary gives a taste of her many eye-opening experiences abroad, as well as the lessons and questions she brought home that make her even more capable, curious and open-minded than she was before. The video and the other entries in the contest can be seen at NAFSA’s Connecting Our World website, and voting in the contest is open until November 27th. So vote now for Ashley!
