MMC Congratulates our Friend Mike Piazza on his Acceptance into the Baseball Hall of Fame

Ken Griffey Jr. and Mike Piazza of the New York Mets are headed to the Baseball Hall of Fame. Both were announced as the two inductees of Cooperstown’s 2016 class on January 6, 2016.
Husband of MMC alumna Alicia Rickter-Piazza ’08, Piazza played catcher for the Mets from 1998-2005. They have been married since 2005 and together they have two daughters.

Math Department Holds The Eleventh Annual Pi-Day Contest
Every year, the Mathematics department holds a College-wide π-Day contest. Students, faculty, and staff are invited to submit an original sentence, paragraph, poem, or short story that uses the digits of π in order (π ≈ 3.1415926..).
