Tri-State Students: How To Request Hurricane Sandy Relief

Dear MMC students in the Tri-State area,

I hope very much that this note finds you safe and sound. As students who live or whose families live in areas affected by the storm, we are praying that you have not suffered catastrophic damages. If you have, we’d like to know how MMC might be helpful to you. President Shaver, the administrative team at MMC and I are ready to assist you.

We are hoping that when the College reopens on Monday much of the city will be back to normal, but if you have difficulties getting to campus or don’t have a place to live, let us know. So let me know how your storm recovery is going. Please reach out to me via email at cjackson@mmm.edu or for text messages only 718-812-2103. I will respond as quickly as possible. In addition, beginning November 5, please call my office at 212-774-0756 for any assistance.

Counseling services will also be available at the Counseling and Wellness Center on campus when you return.

Our thoughts are with you.
