President Judson Shaver Offers the Condolences of Marymount Manhattan College to the Community of Newtown, CT
Once again, senseless violence has claimed the lives of students and staff at an educational institution committed fundamentally to enhancing life and human development.
We are heartbroken and grieve with the families of the victims at Sandy Hook Elementary School. The loss of these innocent people—so many of them small children – shakes us to our core. On behalf of Marymount Manhattan College’s faculty, staff and students, I offer our compassion and deepest sympathy.

Math Department Holds The Eleventh Annual Pi-Day Contest
Every year, the Mathematics department holds a College-wide π-Day contest. Students, faculty, and staff are invited to submit an original sentence, paragraph, poem, or short story that uses the digits of π in order (π ≈ 3.1415926..).
