Marymount Manhattan College Student Lindsay Green Recognized for Leadership in Community Service
Junior Lindsay Green has been selected to be one of ten recipients of a 2015 Independent Sector Student Community Service Award.
Lindsay Green, a junior in MMC’s Theatre Arts department, is one of ten students from New York State being recognized for outstanding leadership in community service. Lindsay was selected from a pool of nearly 40 other students from the state to receive an Independent Sector Student Community Service Award. She will also receive a $500 H.D. Paley Scholarship. Lindsay stands proud with New York State Senator John Bonacic. Congrats Lindsay!

Math Department Holds The Eleventh Annual Pi-Day Contest
Every year, the Mathematics department holds a College-wide π-Day contest. Students, faculty, and staff are invited to submit an original sentence, paragraph, poem, or short story that uses the digits of π in order (π ≈ 3.1415926..).
