The B.A. in Theatre Arts offers the opportunity for study in seven different concentrations within the major.

The B.A. in Theatre Arts major requires 42-credit hours in theatre courses to complete and is a flexible program that creates opportunities for choice within the Theatre Arts curriculum. Often B.A. in Theatre Arts students study in more than one concentration and many double major in the College’s liberal arts curriculum.
The B.A. in Theatre Arts major, with its six concentrations, offers students an opportunity to study with New York theatre professionals, to work on main stage productions, establish professional contacts, and obtain internships with some of New York’s major theatres and professional organizations. Since Marymount Manhattan is an undergraduate college, students do not compete with graduate students for design, directing, stage management, acting, dramaturgy, and playwriting opportunities. Every semester, qualified students work on main stage productions, Directing Projects, and Playwright/Director/Actor Workshops.
