Transfer Student Scholarships

Transfer Presidential Scholarship

Students entering with a GPA of 3.5 or higher at time of application receive $13,000 per year. Renewal is based on full-time status with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and awards are applied to Fall and Spring semesters only.

Transfer Dean’s Scholarship                   

Students entering with a GPA of 3.0 to 3.49 at time of application receive $11,000 per year. Renewal is based on full-time status with a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher and awards are applied to Fall and Spring semesters only.

Transfer Recognition award

Students entering with a GPA of 2.5 to 2.99 at time of application receive $8,000 per year. Renewal is based on full-time status with a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher and awards are applied to Fall and Spring semesters only.

Transfer Academic Merit Award

Students entering with a GPA of 2.0 to 2.49 at time of application receive $4,000 per year. Renewal is based on full-time status with satisfactory academic progress and awards are applied to Fall and Spring semesters only.

Community College Honor Society Scholarship                    

Students entering from a community college and a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, Alpha Beta Gamma, or other recognized community college honor society receive $3,000 per year. Students must provide a copy of the membership card or other proof of membership. Renewal requires full-time status and a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. 

Path to Bachelors Award

Students who have received an associate’s degree prior to the start of their first semester at Marymount Manhattan College can receive $2,000 per year.

Transfer Articulation Grant

MMC has Guaranteed Admission Agreements with Borough of Manhattan Community College, Brookdale Community College, Guttman Community College, and Westchester Community College. Transfer students from these community colleges are offered admission and a grant based on specified requirements. Students who complete their Associate Degree with a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or greater will receive a $2,000 per year. This grant applies to Fall and Spring semesters only, and for a maximum of three years with full-time status and a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA required for renewal. We welcome agreements with other community colleges and are working on establishing additional ones.
