Service Awards

Americorps Scholarship                   

Candidates must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, full-time, degree-seeking student who is an alumnus of AmeriCorps. Proof of membership in AmeriCorps and completion of a term of service is required. MMC will match up to $2,000 of the AmeriCorps scholarship that a student is awarded. The AmeriCorps Scholarship is not automatically renewed each year. Students may choose to apply any amount of their AmeriCorps Education Award to College costs and MMC will continue to match funds up to $2,000 and up to a maximum of 4 years. 

Dollars for Scholars Collegiate Award                  

Marymount Manhattan College is a Collegiate Partner of Scholarship America® and the Dollars for Scholars® family of community scholarship foundations. MMC has agreed that Dollars for Scholars awards of (up to $2,500) per student will not adversely affect scholarship funding provided by MMC. In addition, MMC has committed to matching Dollars for Scholars awards of up to $1000 per student (provided that the student has financial need). The total MMC budget for this program is set at $15,000 per year. All qualifying students should consider early processing as students who apply late may not be awarded the matching funds.
