Accreditation
Marymount Manhattan College is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. It is independently chartered to grant degrees by the Board of Regents of the University of the State of New York.
The College is a member of numerous organizations concerned with the advancement of higher education, including the Association of American Colleges and Universities, the Council of Independent Colleges, the Association of Governing Boards of Universities and Colleges, and the Commission of Independent Colleges and Universities.
The College is also a member of the Faculty Resource Network, the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities, and The College Board.
