Pi Day 2016
MMC celebrated Pi Day 2016 with the annual writing contest sponsored by the Department of Mathematics. Entrants submitted an original sentence, paragraph, poem or short story using the digits of π in order (3.14159265359…). Entries were judged by Profs. Wat, Ching, Margolin, and Meyers on cleverness, interest, and length. Monetary prizes ($100, $31.41, $3.14) were awarded to the best student entries.
Honors Day 2015
The Department of Natural Sciences was proud to have three students present their original research on Honors Day, March 19, 2015. In addition, several of our seniors were honored with awards.
