B.A. Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology

Students in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders begin observation hours in our on-campus child and adult clinic, the Ruth Smadbeck Communication and Learning Center, during their first semester of enrollment.  In their final year, students take on their own clients while MMC faculty observe them.  In addition to this hands on training, Communication Sciences and Disorders majors also regularly attend and present research at the American Speech and Hearing Association National Conference.
